Terms of Service.

The rules for voting, running events, and getting paid on Nextiaa. Read them before you publish an event or tap pay.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to Nextiaa, including nextiaa.com and related apps, APIs, and dashboards (the “Service”). By creating an account, publishing an event, voting, buying a ticket, or otherwise using Nextiaa, you agree to these Terms and to our Policies.

Nextiaa is operated from Cameroon. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Organizers who create a workspace accept these Terms on behalf of themselves and any organization they represent.

2. The Service

Nextiaa is a technology platform. We provide tools so organizers can run paid voting and, on eligible plans, ticketing for events such as pageants, concerts, galas, and other contests. The public can search published events and pay to support a candidate.

Nextiaa is not an event promoter, talent agency, bank, or electoral commission. We do not organize the show, choose winners, or guarantee prizes. Those obligations sit with the organizer.

  • Public voting does not require an account.
  • Organizer and admin workspaces require a registered account.
  • Live tallies reflect succeeded payments on Nextiaa, not ballots cast elsewhere.

3. Fan voting, not civic elections

Votes on Nextiaa are paid fan support for entertainment and promotional events. They are not votes in a presidential, legislative, municipal, or other public election, and they do not create a legally binding poll or census.

You must not use Nextiaa to run or impersonate an official election, or to collect political campaign contributions in a way that evades applicable law.

4. Accounts

Organizer accounts may be created with a name plus email or phone, or through Google. We may require a 6-digit one-time code to verify signup, login, password reset, or payout confirmation. You must keep credentials confidential and tell us if you suspect misuse.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to open an organizer account.
  • Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include a letter and a number.
  • One person or organization should not create accounts to evade limits, fees, or a suspension.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that are inactive, abusive, or in breach of these Terms.

5. Organizer responsibilities

You are responsible for your events, candidates, copy, images, venues, schedules, prizes, and how you describe the contest to the public. You must have the rights to upload photos and names, and you must not publish events that are unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful.

  • Keep vote prices, packs, and ticket categories accurate before you publish.
  • Open, pause, and close voting in line with what you promised your audience.
  • Do not add fake candidates or inflate results outside the Service.
  • Honor tickets and door policies you sell or describe on Nextiaa.
  • Comply with Cameroon law and any rules of your venue or rights holders.

6. Voting

A vote is created only after a payment in XAF succeeds. Pending, failed, expired, or refunded payments do not add to the tally. Organizers set the unit price and vote packs. They may pause voting or unpublished an event.

  • For MTN MoMo and Orange Money, the payer’s phone number is stored with the order.
  • Card checkout follows the card processor’s authentication flow.
  • We may block vote attempts that look automated, abusive, or fraudulent.
  • Leaderboards can change until voting closes; they are not a final certified result unless the organizer says so.

7. Ticketing

Ticketing is available on plans that enable it. Organizers create categories with a price and quantity. Each issued ticket records buyer name and phone, optional email, and a unique QR code. Ticket status may be valid, used, or refunded.

Entry to a venue is the organizer’s responsibility. Nextiaa supplies the record and QR; we do not staff the door.

8. Payments, fees, and plans

Prices for votes, packs, tickets, and subscriptions are shown in FCFA before confirmation. From each succeeded vote or ticket payment we deduct a processing fee and credit the organizer the remainder. The fee rate follows the organizer’s plan, a per-user override, or the platform default.

  • New organizers start on a free plan with limited events, candidates, and votes, and without ticketing.
  • Paid plans (monthly or yearly, as listed in the catalog) raise those limits and may lower the fee.
  • Subscription charges are a separate payment type from votes and tickets.
  • We are not a party to disputes between fans and organizers about prizes or show quality.

9. KYC and payouts

You must complete identity verification (KYC) before enabling MTN MoMo, Orange Money, or card collection on an event, and before requesting a payout. We review national ID, passport, or driver’s license, a selfie, address, payout phone, and — for businesses — registration details.

  • The minimum payout is 1,000 FCFA.
  • Payouts go to the Mobile Money number on your approved KYC file (MTN or Orange, based on the number).
  • Available balance is succeeded vote and ticket earnings minus fees, minus amounts already paid or reserved on open requests.
  • We may reject a payout that fails review, fails at the operator, or looks like fraud. Rejected amounts return to your available balance when the request is closed as rejected.

10. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Fraud, money laundering, or collecting funds for a purpose you hide from payers.
  • Hate, exploitation, or illegal content, including sexual content involving minors.
  • Scraping, attacking, or reverse engineering the Service except as allowed by law.
  • Circumventing plan limits, KYC, or a suspension.
  • Uploading malware or attempting to access another user’s workspace.

11. Content and intellectual property

You keep the rights to names, photos, and copy you upload. You grant Nextiaa a licence to host, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the Service (event pages, search, receipts, emails).

Nextiaa, the wordmark, and the product design are ours. You may not copy the platform or use our marks in a way that suggests we endorse an event we did not publish as our own.

12. Availability and changes

We aim for a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, instant leaderboard updates, or that a Mobile Money operator or card network will always complete a charge. We may change features, plans, and fees with notice on the site or by email where required.

13. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by Cameroon law, Nextiaa is not liable for lost votes, show cancellations, prize disputes, operator outages, or indirect or consequential loss. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees we actually retained on the payments at issue in the three months before the claim, or 50,000 FCFA, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including fraud.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Cameroon shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
